Travelling At Night Guides Hub
Practical routes through Weather Factory’s combat-free Introduction
This Guides hub is the execution desk for Travelling At Night’s public demo. Builds and tier lists tell you who Spencer might be; guides tell you how to move through Antibes and Sanitarium Aujourd’hui without combat, without softlocking on Trace, and without missing the systems that make Weather Factory’s CRPG sing.
Start here
- How to play — the combat-free loop, checks, Memories, meters.
- Antibes walkthrough — routing from Gare d’Antibes through town and sanitarium.
- Complete demo — a checklist before you board toward Mimata.
Specialty guides
- Find Nenah — Spencer’s search thread without dumping every spoiler.
- Recruit Vincent — demo companion, Légion comrade, roll aid.
- Manage Dread — keep checks possible when doom climbs.
- Craft items — stations, skills, and early recipes like Dread rites.
How these guides think
They assume facts from Weather Factory’s published materials: demo launched 10 August 2026; setting is alternate 1948 Europe; protagonist is Spencer Hobson; careers are Exorcist, Writer, Conjurer, Physician; combat is none; Vincent is the demo recruit; Lalla Chaima and Corso Reverte arrive in the full game; systems include Crafting, Outfits, Footnotes, Dread, and Trace. Guides stay career-agnostic where possible and call out Physician or Exorcist advantages when relevant.
Spoiler policy
Routing spoilers yes—places, systems, recruitment windows. Ending dumps no. Nenah guidance stays lightly spoiled so discovery survives. Semi-secret characters mentioned by Weather Factory as hidden are left for you to find.
Pair with hubs
Before a guided run, skim Builds or a starter package. During play, open Systems when a mechanic confuses you. After play, compare notes with World pages on NPCs and lore. Wishlist and patch awareness live under Updates.
Why guides matter in a dialogue RPG
Antibes contains roughly as many words as Cultist Simulator at launch. You will not see everything. Guides exist to prevent wasted evenings on meter death spirals and to teach the verbs—talk, craft, outfit, footnote—that the full forty-plus-hour pilgrimage will reuse across Hush House, colder cities, and night trains.
When you finish the checklist on Complete demo, start a second Career deliberately rather than immediately hunting min-max charts. The demo rewards contrast more than a single perfect path.
Guide maintenance notes
When Weather Factory patches recruitment or craft UI, update Demo status first, then the specialty guide that touches the verb. Walkthrough order may stay stable even when menus change. If a secret location becomes publicly charted by the developer, we may add a light pointer—until then, heart-led discovery stays intentional.
Cross-links for lost players
Stuck on meters → Manage Dread. Stuck on people → Antibes NPCs. Stuck on identity → Builds. Stuck on storefront confusion → Platforms or Download the demo. This hub is the switchboard; use it instead of rereading every leaf in order every time.
